Installation Conditions

Correct assembly of your new lift can make the difference between optimal or poor utilization of the equipment's capacity.

Correct assembly ensures great reliability in daily operation and minimizes downtime and maintenance expenses.

We can offer you a professional assembly service based on many years of experience. The assembly is performed by our own service technicians and district installers, all equipped with service vehicles, special tools, and equipment for this purpose. By utilizing our offer, you can safely and swiftly put your new lifts into operation with the lowest possible installation costs and minimal disruption in your workshop. For you to get the best possible benefit from our service technicians and their equipment, and for work time to be used most efficiently, we ask that you ensure the following preparations are made:

General Assembly Requirements

  • · The placement of the lift must be decided in accordance with the Danish Working Environment Authority's regulations (A.T. guidelines 2.3.1.1 and 2.3.0.2)
  • · The lift must be placed on a firm and sustainable foundation according to STENHØJ's assembly instructions*
  • · It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the floor meets the requirements specified in STENHØJ's assembly instructions*
  • · STENHØJ cannot be held financially liable for damages resulting from poor floor quality*
  • · The installation site must be cleared and have free access for the service vehicle.
  • · The lift must be located on the workshop floor at the assembly site and must not be unpacked. The customer must provide a forklift or similar aids if necessary.
  • · The necessary electrical and compressed air supply must be available or agreed upon for assembly.
  • · Assistance must be available for heavy lifting.
  • · Prices are based on the condition that assembly conditions are met.
  • · Electrical connection must be carried out by an authorized electrician at the customer's expense. The customer arranges the time with the electrician.
  • · All prices include travel, except for fixed bridges. Costs for ferries or similar will be an additional expense.

Additional work time or futile trips due to circumstances beyond STENHØJ's control will be invoiced in addition to the offered price for assembly.

Additional work time may occur if conditions are not met or ground conditions are difficult, such as large stones, cables/wires, water/sewer pipes, high groundwater, and unstable ground conditions.

STENHØJ cannot be held responsible for damage to underground cables/wires, water/sewer pipes, or floor heating pipes/hoses unless these are clearly marked before assembly or mis-marked.

STENHØJ is not liable for consequential damages resulting from damage to the above. If there is doubt about the strength of the floor, a floor strength test may be required. The cost of this test is borne by the customer. If there is an opening in the floor, it must be cleared of debris, iron filings, and insulation. Otherwise, extra time spent on cleaning will be charged to the customer.

Removal of waste/earth/building materials or others, as well as pouring and post-pouring are not included in the assembly price.
