Compressors for the Automotive Industry and Industry

STENHØJ is known worldwide for its compressors. We have been supplying high-quality compressors for nearly 100 years! It’s easy to find one of STENHØJ's well-known blue compressor models that have been in workshops for the past 25 years and are still running flawlessly. The quality of our blue compressor series is unmatched on the market. Our blue series of compressors is renowned for its high quality and long lifespan. The compressors are efficient, highly reliable, and operate at a low noise level.

In recent years, STENHØJ has developed an entirely new series of compressors, which we call our grey series of compressors. They are designed to achieve the perfect mix of quality and price. These are compressors that can endure, at a price that is affordable.

So, which type of compressor should you choose? It depends entirely on what the compressor will be used for.

Air Quality

Compressed air treatment is crucial when using compressed air, as it significantly impacts air quality. Contaminants in the air can be harmful both to the equipment and to the people working with the compressed air. It can also have a major impact on the product it is used with – for example, in food production.

A compressor can be equipped with a wide range of different filters and equipment, such as those for removing condensate, particles/dust, oil, nitrous gases, bacteria, and more.

A refrigerated dryer removes moisture and condensate from the air.

A cyclone is placed before the refrigerated dryer and removes condensate from the compressed air system.

An automatic water drain detects the water level in the tank and discharges the water. It can be equipped with a sensor or be time-controlled.

There is a wide range of filters available to ensure the desired air quality and protect the tools.

We also offer, among other things, receivers, refrigerated dryers, and compressor units as separate components for your compressor.

Optimize Your Energy Consumption and Save Money!

It pays off to review the energy consumption of your compressed air installations. Even a small leak or an incorrect setup not only lets air but also money leak away. In fact, energy optimization is a very effective tool for reducing fixed costs and improving your bottom line and will quickly pay for itself.

There is a significant focus on the environment and CO2 emissions. Here, you achieve a win/win situation, where you both save on costs and help the environment by reducing your CO2 emissions.

We Assist with Your Energy Optimization

We know what we are dealing with!

At STENHØJ, we have Denmark’s largest service team spread across the country.

Our compressor service team is ready with their many years of expertise to both advise, service, and repair all types and sizes of compressors.

Our compressor team has years of experience in building compressor systems for both large industries and the automotive industry. Our technicians know everything worth knowing about piston compressors, screw compressors, oil-free compressors, piping, refrigerated dryers, filters, water separators, cyclones, air quality – basically, everything related to compressed air.

Energy Analysis

We assist with a complete energy analysis, where we examine your current energy consumption for compressors and dryers. We come to you and install measuring equipment on your compressed air installation to perform an in-depth analysis of the consumption over a given period. Here, we can, among other things, determine if the compressor you have is the right one for your needs, see how the consumption is distributed over the day, and check if the machine is operating as it should.

With this data in hand, we can either document that your system is running 100% optimally or identify potential savings. We will, of course, prepare an energy report with our findings and recommendations for improvements.

If you want a more detailed analysis, it can be expanded with a flow measurement, where we measure how much air is actually produced. This means looking not only at energy consumption but also at the produced quantity.

Leak Test

If there are leaks in your system – e.g., in the piping system, compressed air system, pneumatic equipment, etc. – then money is essentially flowing out. It’s pure waste of energy and costs both on the bottom line and the CO2 balance.

A leak test will review the compressed air installation for leaks and optimization.

Mandatory Inspection of Receivers

Any business with pressure vessels must ensure that installation checks and mandatory 2-year and 4-year inspections are carried out.

The owner is responsible for ensuring that the compressed air system is inspected at the applicable intervals.

However, if you have a service agreement with us, we keep track of when your equipment needs to be inspected and will contact you. You can also always check the status of your service inspections in our customer service portal.
